An up and down season for the Dumpsters, which started with 5 straight
wins, putting the team well clear at the top of the table and firm
favourites for the title. The pressure began to tell in the run-in
though, as just 4 points were picked up from the last 5 games. The
climax to the season was the final day title showdown with Non-Sensible
soccer. The Dumpsters started a point behind and needed a win to take
the title but they never showed up and suffered a pasting at the hands
of their rivals. It was still one of The Dumpsters most successful
seasons to date though, and the team can take pride in gaining their
first ever promotion.
